About Dr Ahmed Omarjee

Dr Omarjee’s journey into medicine started in Dublin at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He then returned to Australia, completing his studies at the University of Tasmania and graduating with Honours in 1999 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Next, Dr Ed Omarjee completed the Basic Surgical Trainee program with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons at The Alfred Hospital before going into a focused general practice. He also became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006.

It was around this time that Dr Omarjee began to pursue his interest in cosmetic medicine and phlebology by undertaking further study and clinical training. Dr Omarjee has worked with many highly regarded cosmetic surgeons and phlebologists both within Australia and abroad, including France, Bulgaria and the United States. He has also undergone training in laser therapy, micro and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, dermatoscopy and skin surgery. He also has extensive experience in anti-ageing procedures like dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injectables.

At present, Dr Omarjee holds memberships and accreditations through the following institutions and agencies within Australia and the Australasia region. These include;

  • Australian and New Zealand Society of Phlebology
  • The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
  • University of Tasmania
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

As a qualified medical doctor, Omarjee performs cosmetic mole removal, anti-ageing procedures, facial vein treatment, laser skin rejuvenation, the treatment of skin conditions, skin rejuvenation, treatment of veins, cosmetic injectables and scar management.

Dr Omarjee completing the Basic Surgical Trainee program with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons at The Alfred Hospital in 2006. With over 16 years of experience, he chose to open his own clinic. It was from here that Dr Omarjee was able to continue his passion for cosmetic medicine and gain great enjoyment from enhancing his patients’ appearance and self-confidence. Dr Omarjee believes that by making minor changes, he can help people improve their self-esteem, which in turn may boost job opportunities and relationships. His warm, honest and caring nature puts patients at ease and keeps them coming back to him for subsequent procedures as the need arises.
