About Dr Ed Omarjee

Dr Ed Omarjee is a leading cosmetic physician who offers treatments at several cosmetic and beauty clinics around Metropolitan Melbourne and Northern Country Victoria. Along with being a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr Omarjee is also a proud Fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia (CPCA).

After studying medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dr Omarjee returned to Australia where he completed his studies at the University of Tasmania, which earned him a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1999 with Honours.

Dr Omarjee received the prestigious Evatt Memorial Medal for most proficient student in 1st year Anatomy at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1993 and also the Stoney Memorial medal for the most proficient student in Anatomy for combined 1st and 2nd year anatomy (1994 at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland).

Before moving into a focused general practice, he completed the Basic Surgical Trainee program with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons at The Alfred Hospital, which is also when he began exploring cosmetic medicine and phlebology in more depth.

Since then, Dr Omarjee has worked with a number of renowned cosmetic surgeons and phlebologists within Australia, the United States, France and Bulgaria. Along with specialising in anti-ageing procedures such as dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and platelet-rich plasma, Dr Omarjee has training in skin surgery, laser therapy, dermatoscopy and sclerotherapy for nonsurgical treatment for varicose and spider veins.
