All treatments require a formal consultation with Dr Omarjee prior to any treatment. During this consultation patients concerns are critically assessed, and a formalized bespoke treatment plan is developed. This includes discussing the nature of treatment(s) proposed, alternative treatments, potential risk and relevant complications of the proposed treatment(s), aftercare instructions, and costs involved of the treatment(s). It also allows time for patient questions.
We offer effective mole removal treatments for various locations of the body, using either the Ellman Surgitron (radiofrequency) for raised moles and lesions and the Revlite SI (Q switch laser) or a IDAS 532nm laser – both gold standards for flat benign pigmented lesions and moles. You should experience minimal pain and discomfort during the procedure, and minimal to no downtime afterwards.
While moles can grow anywhere on the body, they most commonly appear on areas that receive a high level of sun exposure, such as the face. The appearance of facial moles can cause a great amount of self-consciousness and embarrassment, especially if situated in a prominent location. The DOC Clinic can provide effective facial mole removal, with the goal for minimal to scarless results.
Throughout the course of the cosmetic skin tag and mole removal procedure, from the initial consultation to post-operative care, our staff are attentive to your individual needs to make the journey as seamless as possible.
I have successfully removed over ten thousand moles in the last ten years, and when it comes to skin lesion removal, the process is rather similar, as the surgical procedure effectively removes abnormal growths from the skin. Whether it is superficial or serious, an injury will often lead to some degree of scarring. This scarring might be minimal, from minor cuts and scrapes, or it could be extensive enough to warrant keloid scar removal.
During your consultation I will present you with a number of cosmetic mole removal options, and advise which treatment will yield the best results. If these choices are suitable for warts and skin tags, we can also look at removing them at the same time.
Medical relevant consultations usually are eligible for a Medicare specific refund. (Cosmetic consultations are not Medicare eligible).
