A well 24 year old lady was bothered by her mole on her ear. This was assessed by Dr Omarjee and deemed a benign raised chronic non changing mole on the lower ear. She wanted the mole removed and also to achieve minimal scarring. This process was performed under local anaesthetic, rendering the treatment painless. The treatment was Radiofrequency removal via the Ellman RF Surgitron. The after image is 2 months post the procedure. The mild redness at site of healing is normal and fades over a few months, leaving a smooth, minimal (to nil visible) scar.
