The Perfect Addition to Your Cosmetic Treatment Plan

Developed by Dr Glen Calderhead, the Healite II is an advanced skin surface treatment system that uses low-level light therapy to promote healing and skin rejuvenation through the delivery of precise wavelengths, all the while preventing any thermal damage.

Along with its ability to speed up wound healing, the Healite II system can reduce pain, swelling and bruising, making it an ideal addition to your cosmetic treatment plan. Treatments can also be used to address active acne, leaving patients with smoother, healthier skin.

Healite II treatments are highly recommended before and after cosmetic treatments and surgery to enhance results, optimise healing and improve the overall recovery process.

Healite II – What It Treats

This non-invasive treatment can be used as a standalone therapy or in conjunction with other skin rejuvenation treatments, including facial surgery, laser therapy and cosmetic injections.

Each wavelength targets different concerns:

Blue Wavelengths

  • Targets Active Acne: Blue wavelengths work to target active acne by eradicating P acne bacteria

Healite II - 3

Yellow Wavelengths

  • Accelerates Wound Healing: By increasing blood flow to the area, wounds are able to heal faster
  • Improves Pain Management: Faster cell regeneration makes pain management easier
  • Minimises Bruising and Swelling: As cells recover faster, bruising and swelling is kept to a minimum
  • Tightens the Skin: Enjoy firmer skin and fewer wrinkles
  • Decreases Downtime: By providing the body with extra support during recovery, patients can reduce downtime

What to Expect During a Healite II Treatment

This non-invasive low-level light therapy treatment is pain and risk-free. During your treatment, LED lights will penetrate deep into your skin cells to stimulate blood flow, increase healing and decrease pain and inflammation.

The average Healite II session is short and quite relaxing, with the average treatment lasting anything from 10 to 20 minutes. The treatment is suitable for all skin types and no downtime is required. If Healite is used after another procedure (that causes swelling or redness), then the normal downtime of that procedure is reduced as a result of the Healite. Dr Omarjee or a Dermal Clinician will discuss everything with you during your consultation.

Healite II Treatment Results

Your treatment goals will determine how many sessions will be required to achieve your desired result. If you are treating redness and swelling after cosmetic injections, one to two treatments are generally enough. For those with active acne, at least three to six treatments will be required.

If skin rejuvenation is your main priority, four to six treatments are recommended.
Since the treatment is risk-free, there are no side effects that you need to be worried about after your treatment.
