Pigmentation

Many factors can cause skin pigmentation, including sun damage, age, hormonal changes and more. Specialised cells in the skin that create melanin may become damaged or unhealthy, in turn affecting the production of melanin. Through the use of methods and tools such as cosmeceutical skin care, Laser Genesis, RevLite SI, Fraxel® laser treatments, skin needling (Dermapen) and depigmentation creams, Dr Ed and his team can provide you with the cosmetic options you need to improve your condition and rejuvenate your skin.

Rosacea

Considered a chronic, non-curative condition, Dr Ed Omarjee and his team have found a few ways to improve the severity of redness and acne breakouts. Treatments that include prescription medication, the use of cosmeceutical skin care, laser treatments via Laser Genesis and IPL Limelight are all available options when it comes to treating Rosacea.

Acne

Acne is caused by the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria, or “p.acnes,” which occurs in the body and is usually released when your skin sheds the outermost layer of dead skin cells. Once the bacterium becomes trapped within the skin, blemishes tend to form. Hyperhidrosis

This condition is caused by excessive sweating from overactive sweat glands in varied areas of the body, usually seen in the hands, face and under the arms. Some injections used for the treatment of muscle relaxation can be useful in treating this particular condition, or a specified prescription of medically crafted deodorant is an alternative. A very effective, quick non-surgical treatment involving the administration of a drug via fine injections into the area of sweating (eg. Armpits) can be very effective of reducing excess sweating for 6-12 months after one treatment.

Migraine Management

Migraines can be painful. Fortunately, there’s a set of preventative measures we can take with medication and anti-wrinkles injections to help lessen the pain. The use of anti-wrinkle injections can improve a large proportion of patients with migraines for many months before needing to repeat the treatment.

Skin Cancer Checks

Dr Omarjee is highly qualified and has special interest in the area of skin cancer checks. Dr Ed is dedicated to ensuring the comfort of all of his patients while also ensuring that each test is conducted effectively to remove the doubt of a potentially cancerous mole or growth. Dr Ed can assess the type of mole or growth and provide you with valuable feedback as to the specific type of treatment you should receive moving forward, and he can remove most suspicious lesions if required post treatment.
