This multi-functional ultrasound device can be used to tighten and contour the face, neck and body without the need for downtime. Using advanced elliptic transducers, the device delivers consistent ultrasound energy, which improves patient satisfaction as well as comfort levels.

Ultraformer 3 is Effective in the Following Instances
At The Doc Clinic, we use the Ultraformer 3 for non-surgical facelifts that tighten the face and neck and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the eyes, brows and mouth. In other instances, we use the Ultraformer system for umbilical skin tightening following pregnancy.
What to Expect During an Ultraformer Treatment
Following your consultation with one of our qualified practitioners, your skin will be prepped and a set of clinical photos will be taken to document your progress and results. If you are concerned about discomfort, a topical numbing cream can be applied before the ultrasound energy is delivered.
As the hand piece moves over the targeted area, the ultrasound waves will penetrate the different skin layers, creating a shrinking effect. As the body’s natural inflammation and wound-healing processes take effect, collagen production increases and the skin begins to firm, tighten and regenerate.
The average Ultraformer treatment takes about 30 – 60 minutes to complete, depending on what you want to achieve. In most cases, patients will only require one treatment a year to achieve and maintain their results.
If there is moderate to severe skin laxity, two treatments are generally required in the space of 6 months and then one treatment per year thereafter. Your clinician will help you develop a personalised treatment plan during your consultation.
The ideal candidates for Ultraformer treatments have sagging and damaged skin brought on by ageing and sun exposure. Any patients who have facial implants or open wounds will not be cleared for this treatment.
Ultraformer Recovery and Results
The results of your Ultraformer 3 treatment will be visible immediately after your session. Your skin will also show continuous improvement over time and will reach its peak improvement at 12 weeks, with many patients reporting continued improvements for up to a year.
Some patients do experience some mild redness, swelling and tingling following their treatment but this generally subsides within several hours. Overall, side effects are not common, so this need not be a concern if you are considering Ultraformer anti-ageing treatments.
