Ultraformer 3 HIFU
Treatment Melbourne

Disclaimer

All treatments require a formal consultation with Dr Omarjee prior to any treatment. During this consultation, patients' concerns are carefully assessed, and a personalised treatment plan is developed. This includes discussing the nature of the proposed treatment(s), alternative treatments, potential risks and relevant complications, aftercare instructions, and the costs involved. It also allows time for patients to ask questions.

What is Ultraformer 3 HIFU Treatment?

The Ultraformer 3 is a non-surgical ultrasound device available at The DOC Cosmetic and Skin Clinic. It may be considered as part of treatment planning for areas such as the face, neck, or body.

The system uses elliptic transducers to deliver focused ultrasound energy to different layers of the skin. This process may help stimulate a natural repair response. Suitability, comfort, and the number of sessions will depend on individual factors and will be discussed during consultation.

In addition to Ultraformer 3, Dr Ed Omarjee may also discuss other energy-based options for skin-tightening and facial lifting. These can include Exion RF Microneedling, which combines AI-guided monopolar radiofrequency and ultrasound to stimulate collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid; and Fotona T Runner, a laser-based device for skin-tightening.

The best-suited approach, or a combination of these technologies, is determined after a full medical assessment with Dr Omarjee to align with each patient’s individual aesthetic goals.

What to Expect During an Ultraformer 3 Treatment

Following your consultation at The DOC Clinic, your skin will be prepared for the session. In some cases, clinical photographs may be taken to record the treatment process.

During the procedure, the handpiece is moved across the targeted area, delivering focused ultrasound energy to different skin layers. This process may help stimulate the body’s natural repair response. Any changes that occur will depend on individual factors and treatment planning, and these will be discussed during your consultation.

The average Ultraformer session may take around 30 – 60 minutes to complete, depending on the area being treated and individual factors.

In some cases, a single session within a year may be considered. If there are more significant concerns, additional sessions within a shorter timeframe may be discussed. Your treatment plan will be outlined during the consultation.

Ultraformer may be considered for patients with changes in skin firmness or texture. It is not suitable for individuals with facial implants, open wounds, or certain medical conditions. Suitability and safety will be assessed during consultation.

Depending on the findings of your consultation, Dr Omarjee may recommend Ultraformer 3 alone or in combination with other non-surgical technologies such as Exion RF Microneedling or Fotona T Runner to optimise lifting or skin-tightening outcomes for selected areas.

Recovery and Results

After an Ultraformer session, some patients may notice temporary effects such as redness, swelling, or tingling. The duration of these effects can vary between individuals.

Changes following treatment can differ from person to person. Some patients report noticing effects within weeks, while others may observe changes over a longer timeframe. The extent and duration of these changes depend on individual factors.

Ultraformer 3 is performed at The DOC Clinic by trained staff under the supervision of Dr Ed Omarjee. Safety, suitability, and treatment planning will be considered during your consultation.
